- Stops TMB color development and amplifies signal

- Plates may be read up to two hours after stopping (substrate-dependent).

TMB Stop Solution is a ready-to-use, 1% HCl based solution that slows and stops color development of TMB. TMB-based substrates turn yellow upon addition of TMB Stop Solution. The color change produces a 2 -3 fold amplification of signal. TMB Stop Solution is specifically designed for use with KPL's TMB Substrates (SureBlue, SureBlue Reserve and TMB 2-Component).
