- High sensitivity - polyclonal antibody recognizes multiple epitopes vs. single-epitope recognition of monoclonals
- High specificity - provides broad reactivity to Listeria genus specific
- Lot-to-lot consistency
BacTrace® Anti-Listeria Antibody, Genus Specific, is isolated from a serum pool of goats immunized with different strains of heat-killed whole cells of Listeria. This antibody is broadly reactive to Listeria and recognizes all 10 Listeria species tested in our laboratory. The intensity of reaction may vary with the strain of Listeria tested. The antibody may also show occasional low level cross-reactivity to Staphylococcus and Streptococcus species under certain test conditions.
